2. Remove programs you no longer use or need

Next, take a look at all the programs installed on your computer – I bet there’s some you didn’t even know were there! Head over to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program, or on newer versions on Windows just open the Search box and type ‘uninstall’.
