Barcelona Complete the Greatest Soccer Comeback of All Time

Better than the Patriots Super Bowl comeback, better than the Cavs finals comeback last year…

Spanish soccer giants Barcelona last night recorded the greatest sporting comeback ever, overturning a 4 goal deficit from their first game.

The feat was the first time that a team have ever overturned a 4 goal in the UEFA Champions League.

The decisive goal came in the 5th minute of injury time, sparking wild celebrations from the Barcelona fans;

Goals from Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar and Sergi Roberto sealed the famous win for Barcelona.

Here’s the famous winning goal:

Even though everybody was writing them off, Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique always believed they could do it:

“If they can score four, we can score six” he said in the build up to the huge game at the Camp Nou.

The comeback was on just 3 minutes into the game, when Luis Suarez managed to sneak the ball over the line to start sparking some belief in the Barcelona faithful.

Two more Barcelona goals followed before Edinson Cavani struck a hammer blow and notched for Paris St. Germain, meaning the Catalan giants would have to score six on the night to go through to the next round.

Neymar curled in a beautiful free kick on 88 minutes, before Suarez won Barcelona’s second penalty of the evening.

The boy from Brazil stepped up to dispatch the spot kick, scoring his second goal in as many minutes.

Pandemonium broke out just 4 minutes later, when academy product Sergi Roberto connected with Neymar’s sumptuous dink over the top.

His volley in the 95th minute capped off what will surely go down as the greatest Champions League comeback ever.
