Cheers – Where are They Now Everyone’s Forgotten Their Names?
June 2, 2017
Cheers first hit our screens in the 80s, and despite a slow first season it went on to be a huge hit on both sides of the Atlantic.
The Boston-based comedy aired for 11 seasons up until 1993, when the finale had a staggering 93.5 million viewers! Following the trails and tribulations of former baseball pitcher Sam ‘Mayday’ Malone whose career was wrecked by booze, Cheers still airs today showing repeats of the cult classic.
Mayday was always a hit with the chicks, but one day a special lady walked into the bar he’d bought as a reminder to stay sober – Cheers – sparking the most talked about on-screen romance for years to come.
So how are the old crew getting on now? Read on to check in with Norm, Carla, Coach and the rest of the crew…
